Details: Bought this car over a year ago, used it through the winter to get to work. Two sets of rims, bmw basket weaves with new all seasons and new TR motorsport rims with new winter tires.. New alternator/regulator. New cat-back exhuast. new front wheel bearings. Interior is in fair condition, i put a seat cover over the drivers seat it showed the most wear. All gauges work, power windows, sunroof.. alpine cd player. heat works/fan works.So the car still runs and drives just as it did when i bought it. just took it to Jay peak two days ago and backBrakes- needs new brakes all around, and most likely new front calipers. It has 147K runs great however the VANOS is starting to tick, this has not effected performance at all, i would fix it but it doesn´t bother me enough too. If you go to Dr. Vanos.com you can see how much a new vanos is for the car. It could use some paint it is a 1995 and the paint on the hood and front fenders is starting to peel. The car is rust free and never left me stranded. All of the electrical stuff in it works and if you know anything about older German cars its quite a shock to have all the electrical work. Other then that its a great little car still plenty of power and fun to drive. I am only selling it because i don´t need it anymore, and its taking up parking space in my driveway. I understand the VANOS may scare some off but i am willing to negotiate on the price accordingly, and may consider trades for a dirt bike 125CC 2 stroke and bigger. Thanks for looking! Details: ive had the car for 3 years and before that it was a southern car. it has seen one winter and has been stored all others. undercoated before its one winter. theres no rust. last year i had all 4 sets of brakes, calipers, and rotors replaced. i upgraded the sound system to harmon kardon (BMW´s version of Bose) and i upgraded the headlights with halos and brighter bulbs. PASSED INSPECTION THIS WEEK. ive replaced all of the blue and white bmw logos with black and white ones but i have the blue and white ones still. i replaced the silver grille with a black one. since ive had the car ive had the following replaced: fuel pump (ive ran mobil premium fuel since it was replaced) cam speed sensor was replaced. air mass flow sensor was replaced. rear struts have been replaced, thermostat has been replaced, oil changed with mobil 1 full synthetic every 5000 miles, the bushings in the gearbox have been replaced (tighter, smoother shifts) transmission fluid has been flushed and replaced. new tires 2 summers ago. tires rotated every oil change. new radiator right before it came out of storage this year. the car is mint. leather interior 5 speed sport package sunroof 128xxx miles tinted windows babied babied babied!! not desperate to sell so 7000 is pretty firm. I may be interested in trades so feel free to offer. if i don´t sell it ill just drive it until it dies the car has no problems and i am just testing the market so serious inquiries only.
