Details: This silver BMW has 94,xxx miles. Its manual with 18inch rims. It comes with sports package and xenon headlights. A few flaws about this car is that the driver seat is ripped as shown in the picture, and the rims have curb rash. Other than that, this car runs great and it never gave me any problems. There was a new clutch and flywheel installed along with new brakes at around 75,000miles and all four tires were replaced this year at around 88,000miles. I have owned it for over a year and have spent well over 7k on making this car look and perform amazing. For those of you who are not familiar with these cars, it was rated the best Handling car in any price range in 1995 by Motor Trend and beat out Ferrari, Porsche, the Viper and several other high end performance vehicles. 1995 was also the only year that the US Market had the OBD1 engine Management that made upgrading the car much easier for performance. These cars are getting harder and harder to come by, especially with Lower miles and in realitively stock condition. I purchased this car after years of searching for the right one, and have dropped a lot of Money into it. The 240 Horsepower 3.0 liter Engine is capable of pulling off 0-60 in the five second range, and this car still has plenty of life and pull in it. It handles like no other car I have ever driven and has a whole new suspension in it. Since purchasing the vehicle I have upgraded the Suspension the Sound system and many other misc parts. The car currently has 109k miles on it and is one of the lower mileage 95´s that I have seen in the country. especially in a five speed coupe with the Vader seats which are becoming very scarce. This car is the Sport Edition and has a extremely clean interior. I have put in new Black M3 floor mats, the carpet has been professionally detailed and the Black leather has been conditioned at least once a month with lymol and has very little wear (the back seats look like they have hardly ever been sat in, and the only wear that is notable is on the drivers side bolster where it is creased up a little (no rips or tears at all), The only broken plastic inside the car is the plastic surrounds on the tweeters, and the vinly on the drivers door is bubbled up a little by the handle, but is really not bad at all. I have had a Pioneer Avic-N3 installed that is a 6.5 inch touch screen DVD based Navigation that has been upgraded to have the features of the Avic-N5 and has been updated to the 2010 software (and maps for NAV). It also has been by-passed to watch DVD´s while in Motion. It has the Pioneer Ipod Adapter that is hidden and is wired up to the center console, as well as Sirius Satellite Radio that is built in. All the seperate boxes are hidden away and is all controlled through the in dash touchscreen, which is wired up to a Alpine amp that control the 12´ JL Sub and a McIntosh Amp that controls the MB Quartz Speakers (only issue is the drivers side door speaker is out (not sure if it came disconnected or not, have nOt had time to check). Please see all upgrades I have made below as well as all the Extra info, I am trying to include everything that I can good or bad about the Car. This is a super Clean Car that looks and performs great, I had taken it on a 450 mile round trip to Cape May in the beginning of August with no issues what-so-ever. Remember this is the even Rarer OBD1 engine management and could be easily modified and be a great track car, every day driver (thats what I use it for) or a fun weekend ride. All recent Upgrades: New Battery installed 5/11 New Bilstein Sport Shocks all around (with new KYB rear upper Strut Mounts) 1997 OEM BMW M3 Springs (removed from car with 44k and look like new, also have replaced all 8 spring pads, upper and lower, front and back as well as the spring hats) Complete alignment done at the time the suspension was installed New E-brake Cable New OEM Hood Cowl with clips New OEM Front Lip Spoiler New OEM Rear Hubs and Bearings New Rear tires BridgeStone G-Force Sport 245/40/17 (only 4k on them, front Matching tires that are practically new tires only 10k on them) on the 17´ OEM Double Spoke 1 Rims with a Matching Spare New Yellow (Glass) Fog lights with Bulbs All Four bulbs in the on Board computer have been changed (very bright with no pixels out at all) Replaced the Light switch with a used OEM m3 switch Brand New OEM O2 Sensor Brand New OEM in tank fuel level Sensor Bavarian Autosport Air Intake (Only performance modification on whole car) Full brake job done at 90k all OEM pads and rotors, I just replaced the drivers side door seal which was quite worn with one that is practically new, (these wear an these cars and are very expensive for new ones. Just Passed NJ State inspection, good through 8/13 clean Carfax report from 1/11 in April 2011 I had the whole front end repainted and blended (Hood, Bumper, filler Panel around grill, fenders, had a dent in the door pulled. new window molding installed on the passenger side around all the windows paid over 1200 for the whole job, car looks excellent) Python Alarm with Keyless Entry New passenger side kick molding (Part was cracked off when I purchased) Whole car had been compounded out and waxed with all Mequires Gold Products paint is shiny and has no rust spots and very little chips, car has been garaged by me and previous owner Dual Climate Control Ice Cold AC and super Warm Heat On Board Computer All Power function work as should with the exceptions noted below) Tinted Windows in the Rear Rear Spoiler Super Clean Interior (Black Leather, Highly Sought after Vader Seats) Pioneer AVIC-N3 (upgraded to N5) In-dash 6.5´ Touch screen DVD Player with IPOD connection and Sirius Satellite radio (all controlled through Touch Screen) Includes original Manual and a stack of receipts showing purchased parts and Service who also was surprised how solid and well built this car is Most of the work was done by my friend who is a certified Mechanic (No expense was spared in this car) I have dropped in well over 7k since purchasing Clean Engine compartment Trunk and Door Jams (Compounded and Waxed as well). Full synthetic oil change (Mobil 1) done in the last 1000 miles All the Minus. Drivers side heated seat does not work (Passenger works great) Passenger side window one touch control does not work all the time, works if you hold it in, I believe the track needs to be lubricated)Windshield has a tiny crack in it (measures about half an inch) Please no Scammers or Tire Kickers, Serious Offers only, this car is in great running condition but is being sold as-is with no warranties. I am testing the water I love this car but I am thinking of stepping up to an E46., please remember these older german cars are reliable but can be pretty stubborn at time, so you cant expect that you are getting a car that has all the reliabilty of a new car, A lot of time and money has gone into this car, and most the major common problem part have been replaced) If you are looking for one of these cars, one of the biggest thing that you need to make sure has been taken care of is the suspension, especially the rear upper Strut Mounts, which can break and cause the Strut tower to tear do to the power to the rear wheels, and this can be very costly to and unexpecting buyer) The whole suspension and strut mounts in the rear have been changed, this car has not been raced or beaten on.
