I bought the car last October from a mechanic in the Denver area called Denver Pro Tech. The car has 253K on it as it stands, and runs and drives well. The previous owner replaced the fuel pump and rebuilt the transmission while he owned it, and I have replaced the battery and water pump. There are a few issues with the car as it stands, which I will list below:Check Engine Light on(my mechanic has verified one of the O2 sensors needs to be replaced)Airbag light on(the passenger seat occupancy sensor is bad)Will sometimes rattle on startup (timing chain tensioner needs replacement; very easy fix on these cars)Typical VANOS noise problems on this modelWasher fluid reservoir leaks badly, needs to be patched up or replacedLeaks oil, likely from valve cover gaskets and/or upper timing coversOSV needs replacingAside from these issues the car runs great, drives great, all electrical options work(A/C, stereo, cruise control, etc) and has been rock-solid for the past 6,000 miles I´ve driven it. It gets great highway mileage(28-30mpg depending on conditions) and average city mileage(15-17mpg city). With a little work this car would be an absolute gem. It drives great, rides smoothly, and has been enjoyable every minute I´ve owned it. I would love to keep it, but current circumstances are forcing me to sell it.I am asking $3000 OBO. Trades possibly considered but right now cash might be a better alternative.
