Very clean car with only one small ding on the passenger rear quarter panel, one little chip out of the paint on the passenger rear fender (must be from rolling them), and two small chips on the passenger side rear bumper (paint just peeled off--not from a collision) and the air scoop is slightly rock chipped (just needs to be spray painted again if you´re as anal as I am). The only other issue is the passenger side fog light cover has fallen out. You can replace it for a couple dollars. The part is readily available at any BMW dealer or through eBay. The car is an absolute joy to drive, and is beautifully set up. Most race cars come with the old stickers left over, loads of problems, some ´backyard chop shop´ parts, and a high asking price. This car is the opposite of that. The car has just been serviced and needs nothing to take to the track. The fuel is even topped off for you. The asking price is $17900 (I will entertain reasonable offers). The car comes with a California title, and it can be driven on the street depending on your area and willingness to ´work´ with your local regulations. Awesome factory tool set in the trunk,....very unique and rare,.....with all the tools Extremely reliable and trustworthy,....very fun to drive Not so good: Clearcoat is pealing,.....original 31 yr old paint! Some rust spots and a few dings Interior is good but not great,...again all original! back up lights not working(switch at tranny most likely) rear defroster and ciggy lighter not working Overall this car is in good shape for it´s 31 yrs. Below are the details on my car.I´m the original second owner of this Super Clean and well maintained 1999 BMW 328I with the premium sport package. It has 138,000 miles on the super reliable and powerful 2.8 liter inline 6 motor backed by a very strong 5 speed transmission. This car has always been dealer serviced and is in fantastic mechanical condition. It runs and drives perfectly and does not leak or burn any fluids. It´s loaded with options including A/C. Leather, cruise Control, CD player, sunroof, power windows, dark tint, Premium Harman 8 Speaker sound system, digital climate control, dual power Seats, Drivers memory seat, steering wheel radio/cruise controls and more. It does have the airbag light on the dash because of the passenger seat sensor. I did replace the sensor but have not reset the light. Their is also a pretty decent rip in the drivers seat leather that looks easy to fix I just haven´t got around to it. This is one of the safest vehicles on the road with a 5 star crash rating which makes it a perfect vehicle for new driver. I still drive the car everyday for my work commute and regularly get 35 MPG. I have several dealer receipts showing regular maintenance. The tires on it now are less than 2 months old. This car provides an excellent driving experience and will serve somebody well for years to come. I will let it go for $7600 or will consider a trade for the right vehicle with third row seating.
