The car is my daily driver so there will be more miles on it in the future. Do not think that this V8 is a gas guzzler. I average about 400-420 miles on a single tank, almost 17 mpg mixed driving and if you keep your foot out of it on the highway, you can see over 20 mpg. I routinely get 19-21 mpg on the highway setting the cruise between 70-74 mph. There are no squeaks or rattles of any kind. This SUV is tight. As mentioned above, I have 3 sets of rims for this vehicle; one set is the original 2003 sport package rims that do have tires on them, front tires are good for another 5-8k miles and the rears need to be replaced; the winter rims are aftermarket BMW rims with Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow tires with approx. 18k miles on them, never driven past mid-April and only used for winter driving; the upgraded rims are from a 2006 X5 with brand new tires mounted in May of 2011. Color is Metallic Grey with black leather interior and dark wood grain trim. Warranty is good through the end of May 2013 and covers almost everything a BMW CPO warranty does. Details: My 1995 bmw was a great first car for me but im trying to move onto a little newer.My car has working power windows, power locks, heat, radio, is compatible for multi disc changer in trunk (needs component), heated front 2 seats, power sunroof, anti theft, alarm, rear window defroster, computer system (tells accurate temperature, average miles per gallon, average miles per hour, time and date, accurate range (how many miles till out of fuel) and timer, traction control, anti lock brakes, leather seats, good amount of trunk space, 4 doors, room for 5, v6 engine, automatic, power seats and power side mirrors.My car has very minimum interior damage which includes a small rip in passenger seat and right back seat buckle does not work. The steering wheel also has a couple inches of play ( turning the sterring wheel without affecting the actual tires) but its very easy and quick to get used to and does not affect the driving in any negative way. It has no engine problems what so ever and recently had the starter replaced, runs as if brand new and sounds great while driving it too. It is up to 250,000 mi but again no mechanical problems what so ever.Exterior cosmetic issues is the only problem with my car, i was in a minor accident where someone clipped me from the back right corner of my car and caught the side trim in its grill and ripped a rectangular hole in the back right side door and ripped the bumper off with it. The bumper was completely broken off on the right side but i managed to keep the bumper in place by duct taping the right side of the bumper to the body of the car and then putting black electric tape over the duct tape to match the black paint of the car i also did the same with the hole by putting black electric tape smoothly over so it blends in with the rest of the black paint job but again the accident did absolutely no other damage other then cosmetic damage; still runs like a bmw. Details: HelloI have a 1996 BMW 318 IC convertible for sale. It gets about 28 mpg on average (although, I drive mostly highway). It has about 120,000 miles on it and runs pretty good overall. The tires are in good shape. It has power windows/locks/mirrors etc. The top is manual operation, and locks nice and tight. Has CD player/stereo. Has heated leather seats. 5 speed transmission and cruise control. Tires are in good shape with lots of life left on them. The car looks great and should last someone for years to come. Price is $3800 OBO. What is wrong with the car? I´ll try to be as honest and thorough as possible, please remember this is a 15 year old car:1. The car starts just fine when cold, every time. But, when it is warmed up, it takes about 2-3 seconds to start. Not sure what the issue is, or if there even is one. 2. Tie rod end - the front left tie rod should be replaced - the car shakes a bit around 40-50mph. I had this checked out, should cost about $100 to fix. 3. some light rust, there is a couple really small areas of rust on the car. 4. The driver´s seat is worn and really cracked in places. You can get a seat cover for cheap, or find a seat at a junkyard, but it never bothered me. 5. rag top - the top works just fine and keeps the elements out, but is starting to look worn. The plastic back window is cloudy, and has tape over a crack in it. 6. The A/C doesn´t work - but its a convertible, so that is fine. 7. glove box door is missing - probably can find one for a reasonable price at a junkyard. Good condition, according to KBB.com is $4400 or so. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking. Details: I have a 91 325IX. Its AWD. 5 speed manual.It runs and drives great. It has 211k miles on the original motor. Motor is still very strong. I have a ALOT of maintenance records and documentation on what has been done to the car through out its life. It has every oil change recorded since 96 and many other things. it has been very well taken care of through its life.Everything works, no cracks in the dash, all the gauges work, it has rare cardinal red sports seats in it. they do have one small rip on the drivers seat but overall still in very good condition. Interior is in great condition for how old it is. upgraded projector headlights with white HID´s. The biggest downfall is that the body is rough. The car does have rust. The car isnt falling apart on itself or anything but it is noticeable. Things this car has or have been done:Has a Mark D. performance chipprojector headlightsremus mufflerTiming belt done at 209k i believe. done very recently.I replaced all fluids. tranny, front and rear diffs. engine oil frequently. Valve adjustment for winter. when i did this the head and valves were all very super clean. I drive it Everyday and has never let me down.
