The airbags did not deploy, the car still runs and drives ´aside from the fan being stuck and needing a new hood´. Clean title!The car needs a new front bumper, new bumper trim, new drivers side headlight, new hood. The drivers side fender is slightly bent where the headlight meets but isnt creased and the paint isnt cracked so it can probably be bent back. The passanger side fender wasn´t affected. Also needs a windshield ´this was cracked before the wreck and isn´t too bad but should be replaced´The car has heated leather front seats, 4.4 v8, aftermarket exhaust, automatic with auto, manual, and sport modes, 18´ msport staggered wheels, tires up front are new, surround sound speakers, 2001 led tail lights. The M5 is a 400hp 4 door sedan, alternately called the ´Executive Express´ or simply the ´Beast´. If understated looks with Covette killer power is what you are looking for, you are in the right place. I searched high and low for this car, picking it up in Dallas and driving it back. You won´t find a better M5 in this area, and the ones I drove in Chicago were all dogs (plus the dealers up there didn´t strike me as folks I´d like to do business with).Quick specs:--Titanium Silver w/ black luxury interior (aluminum trim).--105,xxx miles.--Have maintenance records since 53k miles.--March 2000 build (not required to 10w60 it), I use Mobile 1 synthetic 5w30.--Southern car (FL, then TX) -- no rust. I bought it last summer in Dallas garaged it this winter, it´s never seen snow and rarely rain.--Used Synthetic 5W30 every 5k miles. No noticeable burning (according to dipstick).--Engine: wonderful. Strong.--Trans/Diff: gearbox is tight, no whining or leaks. All stock.--Brakes: OEM rotors, Hawk Street pads, SS lines only 5-6k miles old.--Suspension: I lost the receipt, but around 75k miles I put adjustable Tokico Illuminas. Stock springs.--Electronics: all in working order.--Never smoked in, not eaten or drank in since I´ve had it and I don´t see any signs it was every eaten and/or drank in.--Body: chips on front end, scratch on passenger mirror. Otherwise, strong cosmetic condition.--Tires: Fuzion front, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 2´s ($800) in the back. I was in the middle of transitioning to a full set of Sumitomos, but the 40k mile warranty on the Michelins was too good to pass up. Both are great tires for my purposes (city/hwy driving, no track time). . ..and have plenty of tread left.Imperfections:1) The airbag light intermittently comes on. I had it checked out, and it´s the airbag sensor inside the passenger seat. Both airbags are present and working.2) The rear shade is broken -- the previous owner installed an DVD/TV system with infrared headphones. Wouldn´t you know it. . ..the infrared sensor broke one of the folding arms. The assembly works, perfect when down, just sags (on one side) when up. You can get a custom replacement part from m5board.com for around $40, I never bothered because the car is tinted all around.3) Rearview mirror -- has the typical ´fluid´ issue. I´ve replaced it once already, still have the company´s info for free replacement. I´m thinking that a new owner should request the next one. It doesn´t bother me enough to do it again.4) Normal wear and tear -- it was not a garage queen, but it wasn´t a daily driver either. If you are looking for a car that will make you smile every time you put your foot on the pedal, look no further. The M5 is a 400hp 4 door sedan, alternately called the ´Executive Express´ or simply the ´Beast´. If understated looks with Covette killer power is what you are looking for, you are in the right place. I searched high and low for this car, picking it up in Dallas and driving it back. You won´t find a better M5 in this area, and the ones I drove in Chicago were all dogs (plus the dealers up there didn´t strike me as folks I´d like to do business with).Quick specs:--Titanium Silver w/ black luxury interior (aluminum trim).--105,xxx miles.--Have maintenance records since 53k miles.--March 2000 build (not required to 10w60 it), I use Mobile 1 synthetic 5w30.--Southern car (FL, then TX) -- no rust. I bought it last summer in Dallas garaged it this winter, it´s never seen snow and rarely rain.--Used Synthetic 5W30 every 5k miles. No noticeable burning (according to dipstick).--Engine: wonderful. Strong.--Trans/Diff: gearbox is tight, no whining or leaks. All stock.--Brakes: OEM rotors, Hawk Street pads, SS lines only 5-6k miles old.--Suspension: I lost the receipt, but around 75k miles I put adjustable Tokico Illuminas. Stock springs.--Electronics: all in working order.--Never smoked in, not eaten or drank in since I´ve had it and I don´t see any signs it was every eaten and/or drank in.--Body: chips on front end, scratch on passenger mirror. Otherwise, strong cosmetic condition.--Tires: Fuzion front, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 2´s ($800) in the back. I was in the middle of transitioning to a full set of Sumitomos, but the 40k mile warranty on the Michelins was too good to pass up. Both are great tires for my purposes (city/hwy driving, no track time). . ..and have plenty of tread left.Imperfections:1) The airbag light intermittently comes on. I had it checked out, and it´s the airbag sensor inside the passenger seat. Both airbags are present and working.2) The rear shade is broken -- the previous owner installed an DVD/TV system with infrared headphones. Wouldn´t you know it. . ..the infrared sensor broke one of the folding arms. The assembly works, perfect when down, just sags (on one side) when up. You can get a custom replacement part from m5board.com for around $40, I never bothered because the car is tinted all around.3) Rearview mirror -- has the typical ´fluid´ issue. I´ve replaced it once already, still have the company´s info for free replacement. I´m thinking that a new owner should request the next one. It doesn´t bother me enough to do it again.4) Normal wear and tear -- it was not a garage queen, but it wasn´t a daily driver either.
