Details: Selling my 1997 BMW 740iL sedan with 214k. The car runs well, and has new (early summer) tires and recently replaced battery. This was the BMW Flagship, and came with all amenities including, steering wheel warmer, power trunk-lid, seat memory, power everything (including telescoping wheel), parallel parking mirror, leather interior, power lumbar, 6-CD changer, et c. She´s built like a tank, with minimal rust in a couple of spots. In an effort for full disclosure, the following is a list of know problems that might need attention:Crack across top of windshieldDriver´s side seat warmerStereo amp needs replacedSlow heater core leakValve cover gaskets will need replacementPass seat airbag sensorCruise control deletes after about 45 miles (I think the cable needs tightening)Rear sun-visor is trickyPass seat controls are loose, but workThe biggest issue is that the idler arm bushing is worn. I have the replacement (included), but my mechanic didn´t have the right tool to put it in. This results in a shimmy when braking, which should be fixed with the replacement.
