Details: I am selling my 1998 BMW 328I. It has 198XXX miles and has been a great car for me and is fun to drive. As you can see in the pictures there is some damage to the front, passenger bumper from when a lady backed into me in a parking lot but in no way affects drivability. It is an easy fix for someone who is handy with bodywork. I have the replacement turn signal that I will include with the sale. I bought the car a little over a year ago from the original owner who took meticulous care of it and I have all the service records for the vehicle. It is in great cosmetic (aside from the front bumper) and mechanical condition, however, it will need a new clutch at some point as it is the original. I have had no problems with the car since I´ve owned it except for the thermostat (the original owner replaced the entire cooling system prior to my purchase as these are prone to trouble) which I replaced several months back. The tires are in good shape and have a fair bit of life left in them. Brakes were replaced just before I purchased the car and are still very adequate. The only reason I am selling it is to buy a larger vehicle to tow a boat. This will be a great car for years to come. Mileage will go up as this is my daily driver. The bad----------------The car has heated seats but something is wrong with the drivers side one. When you turn it on you get a very hot spot, in fact, it burnt a tiny hole in the seat a few years back. Haven´t used it since. Passenger one works fine.There is a rust spot starting above the passenger rear wheel.There is another rust spot starting on the back of the car. Paint is in great shape for a 13 year old car. Minor door ding on drivers side and a couple small scuff marks here and there, but again, not bad for a 13 year old car with 190,000 miles.Every once in a while when you turn the key to start the car, the starter does not engage the engine. This has happened for years and I never bothered to get it looked at. It always started on the next try. This doesn´t happen too often but just wanted to let you know. It happened on my last BMW too, not sure why. The front passenger side window regulator will need to be replaced soon. I already replaced the other 3 and they are working great, but this one isn´t going to last too much longer. It´s about a $150 part and a fairly easy do it yourself job. This has been a great car and still is. Selling to buy a SUV as we have two kids now and need a little more space to haul strollers, etc. My last BMW I kept until 240,000 miles and it was still running good when I sold it. Even know this one has 190,000 miles, it still has a lot of life left.I have many more pics. All the electronics work 100% and the car runs amazing. This car comes with plenty of power (282hp) and every luxry option available.
