Details: This is a 1985 BMW 635csi. It has black finish with tan interior, which is the most popular color combination for the 635´s. The car has 295,000 miles and still runs and looks great. It has never been in an accident and has not been driven in the snow. The car has not been a daily driver for the last few years and has always been parked inside. Currently the car is in Kansas, but has spent most of its life in California. It is being sold as is with no warranty. Engine has 295,000 miles on it. It has always had synthetic oil run in it and has never been gone into. The add-ons are a cold air intake and high performance spark plug wires. Burns ¾ to 1 quart of oil every 3000 milesTransmission- The car was originally equipped with an automatic transmission. About 15,000 miles ago I had another 635 with a five speed that I swapped into this 635.Suspension¬- Springs and struts have been replaced. Springs are a lowering kit from Bavarian Automotive and Bilstian Shocks. Front end needs new bushings and tie rods. 16 inch rims with Bridgestone Potenza´s 205/55 16R in the front and 225/50 16R in the rear. The tires only have 4,500 miles on them and are great summer tires.Exterior- Finish is still a shiny black finish with NO RUST. Front air dam needs to be replaced and there is a dent in the front center nose behind the grill.Interior- Interior is clean and has a very nice for its age. Front seats are the originally equipped sport seats and have been recovered. The driver seat is showing some wear. Power seats work except for the reclining function on the driver seat. Rear seat has never been recovered and is in good condition. Windows, door locks, interior light, sunroof and electronics work. Heat and air work well but air conditioning is still an R 12 system. The body on this car is almost perfect with the exception of a few scratches on the underside of front bumper and one nick on the front bumper. There is no rust or dents and the paint shines awesome. I clay bared and waxed it before winter and if I get time will be doing it again this week. Just drove to Denver and back and averaged 26mpg with a touch of spirited mountain driving. The car is currently sitting on 19´ Ro_ja staggered wheels 19x9.5 & 19x10. I also have 5 of the factory wheels with good tires just filled with nitrogen. I have installed clear/red tails, clear side markers & corner lights & the front bumper reflectors were painted to match. I also installed matt black kidney grills, black&white carbon BMW roundels/badges and a rear trunk lip spoiler. I replaced the rear shelf speakers with new kenwood 6.5´ speakers and installed a new JVC kd-x50bt deck, its color changing and I was able to get it to match the dash lighting (amber). In the last 3k miles I have replaced the following: new power steering pump, both cam angle sensors, both brake sensors, ambiant air temp sensor, windshield wiper relay, motor and sprayer pump, spark plugs and air filter. I also swapped out all of the interior lighting with white LED lights.
