It has been garage kept the entire time I have owned it. It´s bright red finish is a real head turner, the smooth but strong powered 3.2l 6 cylinder gets you there quickly and handles likes it on rails. The top was replaced just before I purchased and is in excellent condition. There are no known mechanical defects, only a couple of minor defects (chips on front valence and small paint blemish on deck lid). I have never smoked in the car. It has a 6 CD changer and BMW HK factory stereo, power top, and original BMW wheels.It has approx 92000 miles currently which is low for the yearCar was recently detailed and still looks sharp. I just can´t say enough about it and wish I could keep it. The financial situation is forcing the sale unfortunately. I have more pics available. The paint is an absolute pristine condition, as it comes in the rare cosmos black that holds characteristics of red and blue within the paint, varying on the light, and has been most noticeable after several tedious waxes. The vast majority of mileage came as a result from the previous owner´s highway excursions, but all is sound. Car shifts seamlessly, and accelerates with ease. Brake pads replaced less than 2,000 miles ago, new radiator, fuel pump replaced just over a year ago, oil changed religiously, served only with Premium fuel. Brand new battery. Tires have approximately 75% tread left, with hardly any blemish on the wheels. The fold-out Jensen touchscreen plays CDs, DVDs, and is compatible with iPods. The Jensen unit also has functionality with satellite radio, GPS, and rear camera functions, and is fully-customizable with the vehicles 10-speaker premium sound. The heated seats have two level settings that accommodate the user´s settings quickly. The AC adjusts remarkably quickly between hot and cold with no incursion. Electronically and mechanically, the BMW has no known issues.The only noticeable flaws are cosmetic: seats show natural wear for the age, but aren´t cracked, there´s a small ding (smaller than a dime) just behind the passenger-side door, where it appeared to have met something small, but hardly noticeable. There´s also a small crack in the front passenger side lip kit, to the front bumper, again, hardly noticeable; and like several older BMWs, the glue that bears the rear upholstery in the headliner is beginning to sag, which is an easy fix. Details: For sale is my 1987 BMW 635CSI. One of the most beautiful cars ever made and now a classic. Charcoal gray over black. I have owned this fantastic car since ´09, purchased from a specialty dealer in Mass. Other than a few correctable issues, the car is in superb condition. I am selling because it is too similar to my daily driver and just not being driven enough.The car had a panel-off repaint in original color some time ago and shows almost like new, apart from the fading on the bumpers. There is little to no rust in the usual suspect areas for these cars. There are no rock chips or nicks in paint, even on the front end and air dam. The only blemishes in the paint are actually on the hood, where it looks as if a branch or something had fallen on it (no dents). These are all smaller than a dime. A previous owner did a poor job using touch-up paint there.I have a thick notebook of detailed service history, owners manual, etc.What it needs: The engine runs strong and correct, however there is a power drain I have not been able to pinpoint (common with these) that kills the battery after a few days. I have to disconnect the battery if not using. I have narrowed the causation somewhat and can share the info. I just haven´t had the time or patience to troubleshoot. Otherwise, the car is perfectly usable as is. This may be solved easily if you have a volt/ohm meter to discern the drain (I don´t own one).The roofliner should be replaced, though it is not hanging down, no holes, or anything like that.The trip computer was disconnected when an aftermarket CD player was installed (I have the original stereo too). It can be plugged back in.The internal lock mechanism on the driver-side door needs to be maintenanced. It is usable, but you have to be gentle. I´ve been locking it from the passenger side when necessary.The rechargeable flashlight in the glove box does not work.The engine bay needs to be cleaned, looks like this has never been done.Do not have the original wheels (they were those ´bottle-cap´ 14´s anyway, not the TRX/BBS).A few cracks in dash above steering wheel, as normal for these at this age.The gauge cluster was originally in KM, and swapped out for a MPH cluster. Once in a while the tachometer just doesn´t work.The passenger door is very stiff. Probably from no use over the years.Minor oil leak. I check it every few months and add as necessary.The good:Brand new battery as of 4/11/12.The car runs great. Beautiful, strong, E24 engine. Not terribly fast off the line, but wonderful on highway, with torque to spare at speed.The leather interior is mostly immaculate. New period-correct BMW mats. No tears or blemishes in the nine-way adjustable seats. Only the headrest motors don´t work (there is a simple fix I read about).All electrics, inside and out, work (other than the headrests).Has the original AC, which works, but not terribly strong. Heat is fine.Sunroof, vents, or opens all the way.Never had the notorious, and heavy, self-leveling rear suspension, or rear cooler/AC between rear seats, that both came on the US spec cars.17-inch Borbet wheels (about a $1000 value) with almost new Sumitomo tires.Mostly intact original tool kit.*** In the past year, replaced the water pump with metal impellar, radiator fan, and limited-slip differential (warrantied), and battery.Original key and spare. Clear title in hand.Nothing else needed to my knowledge, maybe a tune-up.The very good:This is not a typical U.S. spec 635. It was originally a Canadian car that spent most of it´s life in FL, and features the sport interior found on the M6. Recaro seats (these are the most comfortable seats I´ve ever sat in), and a manual transmission! Extremely few of these cars out there with an original manual gearbox.*** As good as shape as this car is, please keep in mind it is a 25 year old car that is unrestored! It has the typical wear and tear on some items that are indicative of it´s age (wear on steering wheel, seatbelt clips, pitting in chrome, fading on buttons, etc). Details: Listing my 1989 BMW 325i 5 speed manual transmission, 6 cylinder, convertible. The car does need a starter put on but as far as I know, you should be able to push start it to test drive it. There are some dents and dings and the clear coat is worn, but other than the starter, she is VERY mechanically sound. Strong motor, transmission and clutch. The oil cooler was bypassed with hosing. The top is in perfect shape. The seats are rough (20 year old convertible) but the dash is fine. She was a very quick, very tight handling car that I absolutely loved driving, but I put around 30k miles a year on my cars, and this is a sports coupe, not a comfortable, fuel efficient car. There aren´t many 6 cylinder, 5 speed convertibles out there from this era. New tires, cd player, good sound system. Since I bought my Oldsmobile (I know, from a Bimmer to and Olds... yesh I got lame quick!) I´ve not really driven it and never bothered replacing the starter. I think it´s a pretty involved job to change the starter. It´s really not the most practical car. It´s really small and is very dangerous to drive in the winter, but GOD was it fun taking those country roads way too fast! I´m not exactly looking for any kind of trades, but I´m open hearing any offers. Details: This car runs perfectly fine(190k) never had any problems with it until I was tee boned. I kept the car and put brand new doors on it. It looks fine for a 95 interior is in almost perfect condition a tear in the driver seat but other then that it´s fine. The radio, heat / ac do not work and the windows will not go up. I haven´t had time to run through all the fuses and have realized I don´t have time for a project car. The car has no plates on it and will need to be reregistered once fixed( it has a salvage title). I have the information from the doors vins , name number of person I baught the parts from etc. to prove there not stolen. This car gets great gas mileage and is a fun little sports car I would love to keep it. It´s pretty fast for a four cylinder and it´s affordable to drive. I got about 25-30 miles to the gallon it is a five speed transmission firm clutch. At this point in my life 6 months later and I´ve still yet to do much more then replace the doors I realize I don´t have time for this. I wanted to fix it the main problem is fixing the windows making them go up and down and there seems to be a balance issue with the spare that´s on it too but other than that it´s got good old fashion german reliability. It starts and runs fine the brakes were brand new still are considering i only start it once a month. I´m open to offers trades etc looking for a motocyle, dual sport, dirt bike whatever.it´s just not rational to keep it for any longer im clearly not making progress.
