Details: Super rare Euro M6. If you are in the market for one of these cars, this is the one. As soon as you start up this car, listen to it run, and then go through the gears at 3500+ rpms, you will know that this car has been well cared for. For the last 10 years, all maintenance has been done by the same reputable shop and the receipts are available.Closing in on 119K miles and the engine sounds like new, and requires no oil between changes. Has about 30K miles on new valve springs, valve seats, chain tensioner. 5K miles on Kumho tires and new timing chain. Professionally repainted it´s original Arctic Blau color two years ago by a reputable body shop, so it looks like new on the outside. No rust issues except surface rust around the battery housing. No chips, no rash, no dents. Original M1-derived 286 hp M88 engine and lighter body with Euro bumpers makes this car a bit faster than the US spec M6. Basically, it´s a race car in an elegant shell.All the usual replacements have been done, some more than once - brake booster, master/slave clutch cylinders, brake cylinders, all the bushings gaskets, Bilstein shocks, mounts, and many other parts replaced. Professionally installed new stereo 2 years ago with USB for MP3 or iPod, and Rockford Fosgate round speakers were installed in the rear pods, 4X6 replacements up front. Original metric wheels were replaced with 16 inch wheels by the previous owner. This car has never been tracked to my knowledge, and I am the third owner. It has two small cracks in the dash that are not easily visible (near the vents). The leather Recarro seats are in great shape (no rips). I have higher resolution pictures available on request. If you lift the trunk all the way it stays open on it´s own, but as you lower it you will want to lower it gently so it doesn´t drop.Vent sliders need new plastic nobs. So I guess a lost title app. would be the best way to clear the title. I have the Haynes book for it, and looked up the relay, it is about 50 bucks. Details: **** My car has 293,607 miles on it , I am the SECOND OWNER and have owned it since 2000 @ 100,100 miles. It had the engine and transmission replaced at 220,000 with an engine and transmission from a wrecked 1997 BMW 528i that had 88,xxx miles on it back in 2006 so they have about 161xxx miles on them now. It has a ´CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON´. The code is 420 (misfire cylinder #4) the compression is still 150 to 160 in each cylinder. It still runs and drives but runs rough until you get up to speed. We replaced the plugs, isolators, fuel injectors and the coil packs and still have this problem. I am guessing that it has to be electrical ; because while driving it you can reset the check engine light (with a scanner) and it hits on all 6 cylinders for a short period and then starts acting up again.´YOU CAN DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE!´ It uses a pint of power steering fluid every 10 months and has the airbag light on because I had the passenger door replaced and repainted. THE BODY AND INTERIOR IS IN GREAT CONDITION. There are bigger pictures on kijijidot.com (St. Louis ad # 16573255) I have 2 folders full of maintenance and work performed in the past 12 years. OPTIONS: I added, cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic brake pads, XENON headlights, tinted windows, and remote start. A NEW convertible top and NEW leather interior were put on within the last 3 months.
