It is loaded with heated seats, sunroof, COLD AC, Cruise, Tinted Windows, AM/FM/CD with Steering wheel controls, Traction Control, Antilock brakes, power seats, power steering, power windows, yada, yada.. Everything works, recent service. New brake pads and rotors less that 9kmiles ago. Tires have 60% plus tread and are amazing in the snow and rain and smooth on dry pavement. The five speed is a blast to drive and really does give this SUV a sport car feel, and great gas mileage. The clutch is strong. I average 22 MPG Hwy, and 17 MPG City. This is a great SUV with plenty of miles left to go. I recently drove it to Iowa, Chicago, Kentucky, and Columbus Ohio - and trust it to drive anywhere. Details: For sale is my 1989 325i Autocross and Track car. I first purchased this in 2004 with 144,000 miles and have modified it for track use over the years. The car has only been occasionally daily driven, but otherwise has been a weekend car. Maintenance issues have been priority and the car has had many parts freshened, replaced or otherwise upgraded. In its current condition it is fast, fresh and very reliable. Suspension: TC Kline Coilover conversion kit using 2 ¼ in springs, front height adjustable. Koni single adjustable front shocks, double adjustable rears. I.E front camber adjusters allowing for up to -4.1 camber. I.E front and rear adjustable sway bars with reinforced mounts installed. Sparco strut bars front and rear. M3 offset control arm bushings. KMAC rear adjustable trailing arm bushings. TC Kline rear shock mounts. Steering: E36 steering rack conversion allowing 3 turns lock-to-lock. Exhaust: I.E Long tube headers, custom mid-pipes (no cat) and a Tri-Flo cat back exhaust. Beautiful exhaust note, a bit on the louder side. Engine: Miller MAF conversion kit, Miller MAF mapped chip, urethane engine mounts. All AC parts removed. Transmission: Brand new (2 months) Clutchmasters clutch, JB Racing 8 pound aluminum flywheel, short shift kit, urethane transmission mounts. Brakes: Stainless steel lines, M3 master cylinder, brand new Carbotech front pads and new rotors with only one track day´s use. Wheels/tires: Two sets of 14in Basketweaves with used Toyo RA1´s and Hoosier autocross slicks. 25mm spacers front, 20mm spacers rear. Wheel stud converted for easy swaps. Interior: Corbeau race seats, Schroth/Corbeau harness belts, Sparco 280mm steering wheel, custom clutch stop.Exterior: Hartge front air dam, IS rear lip spoiler. High beams currently removed. Recent maintenance: Timing belt last summer along with water pump and cam seal. Front wheel bearings last spring. All seals associated with clutch job this spring. Oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket this spring along with valve adjustment. Entire ignition overhauled last summer. New fuel lines, recent fuel filter. Fresh Redline fluid in the trans and diff. New clutch slave cylinder, new ATE brake fluid. I have decided to sell this car because I have moved on to an S2000. The decision to sell this car is a tough one because I really do love it. It´s fun, reliable and very fast. The engine is the strongest M20 I have driven and pulling the valve cover reveals VERY clean internals. The engine does not use oil and is also completely leak free. Currently 164,000 listed on the car, however myself and other BMW mechanics suspect the engine may have been rebuilt along the way (perhaps from timing belt failure) as it is unusually clean and strong. The car came from Washington state and has never been exposed to Midwest winters. The exterior is fair, the paint looks great from a distance, up close it shows imperfections. Not a show car, but not bad for a track car. The balance is about as neutral as you can get in a car and is easily adjusted from slight understeer to slight oversteer. The only thing the car needs before the next track day is a new alignment, but it is ready to hit the track otherwise. Depending on your plans for it you could run it as I have, a mix of street/track/autocross, or it could be stripped down and caged for a full track car. I will be taking a loss on all the money and labor I have in this car, but as I mentioned I have moved on to another project and the E30 just sits. $5600Serious inquiries only. Low profile radio antenna was added. It has been well maintained. Transmission fluid has been flushed and changed, oil changed, new brakes/rotors, and new air filters all within the past year. Two sets of wheels included. The wheels you see on the vehicle now and the stock wheels. Tires on wheels shown in pictures were replaced last year and only have a few thousand miles on them. Tires on stock wheels are older, but have few miles on them as well. The wheels you see on the car are a little chewed up. As far as I can tell, the previous owner had taken them out in the snow and exposed them to salt. They look great at 5-10 feet, though. I had planned to eventually get them media blasted and have them powder coated, but have not gotten around to it. The stock wheels are in excellent condition and have only been used in the winter.
