Details: I am reluctantly selling my 2000 BMW M5, affectionately known as ´The Beast´. I am a car dealer by trade but this is my personal registered car. It is in very good condition inside and out, it runs extremely well with no warning lights or other running abnormalities. It is 12 years old and has 132k miles on it. This car turns heads everywhere, and runs excellent. I have owned many BMW´s and this one is my favorite so far, in fact I will own another E39 M5. This color combination is incredibly rare and striking in person. These cars came in one configuration, V8, Rear drive, 6sp manual. This car has the following options, split folding rear seat w/ski bag, window shades (the rear shade does not currently work), PDC (Park Distance Control=Sonar) and luxury interior with wood trim and Napa Leather seats. I have done routine maintenance on the car but it does have a couple of needs which are easy to address. First, it will need four tires. I have a wholesale tire account and would be happy to pass those savings on to you. That way you get to choose what tires go on it rather than me choosing for you. The rear window shade does not work, and the drivers side folding mirror does not return on its own. There are no pixels out in the dash, no blown speakers, all of the cup holders are intact, the clutch is strong with no slipping, it stops smooth and straight, and goes down the road nicely. Details: Bought this on Craigslist from a lady named Megan and her BF for 3000. The ad said, runs great. Drive it daily and no problems. I will be honest on behalf of the car now and say, it does NOT drive well or run properly. It does however run, the cost of repairs for it to pass inspection were 4000. So honestly if you are looking for a cheap car that would be nice to drive as like a first car or just need a car. Spend the extra 2000 from a dealer. And DO NOT BUY from a couple in a trailer in farmington by the name Megan. I was not the only one they did this to, and they still do it. -does run-WILL NOT pass inspection-DOES come with sought-after DINAN exhaust (for the BMW enthusiast worth more than the car itself)-body is not bad either, I´m picky about style and looks, and even I was excited about driving it. (530i emblem was pulled off)-the problems were basically the headlight glass was not there. aka not legal but worked (he said they were ´custom´....)-rubber gasket that protects driveshaft was tearing. (wobbles in turning) -The Engine is actually in good shape according to the garage despite the other malfuntions. 100,000 miles roughly. (I am not entirely positive please dont quote me! I´m not near the car to check it, but its over 100,000 for sure.)This car is for someone who would want the classic nature of a BMW and make it into a project to say you essentially built the car yourself. Or if you want it rebuilt, It could become a very nice classic BMW with some nice custom work and modifications. Or for a salvage yard that is willing to offer more than the transportation and 100 bucks, strictly just because the DINAN exhaust is worth about 600 bucks alone. Like I said, I´m not near the car, so the picture IS FROM GOOGLE! However that is exactly what the car looks like. The paint still has a nice shine, just a tad lighter shade of forest green. interior is tan leather, and its a STANDARD.
