Cruising on the highway turns just over 1000 RPM. I don´t know how accurate the MPG gauge is, but it´s almost always over 20MPG. The transmission shifts flawlessly. Details: I have a 96 328i. The body is in good shape only minor scratches and dings. Interior is cloth torn but new seat covers. Engine is clean. 170k+ miles. Clean clear title in hand. The car DOES RUN but at idle it is semi-rough due to misfire from bad O2 sensor, coil, or fuel filter I think it is the fuel filter because throwing misfire and injector code. Also light white smoke (smells like gas from misfire). If you hit the gas it DOES NOT misfire (Only at idle)... This car can be driven home just need to be careful of overheating.
