Details: 2001 BMW wonderful condition. You will be wonderfully shocked at how clean it is for a 2001. It has 159k miles and is an automatic. I replaced the radiator due to a leak, after I replaced it, it started over heating. I believe the issue is the water pump. I have the part, I just do not have the time or money. The bushings and joints do need to be replaced on the front control arms. I believe through bavarian auto haus you can buy them separately without buying the whole control arm. No ding or body damage. all the goodies of a BMW like powersteering,abs brakes, power widows and doors, tinted windows all around, auto alarm, keyless trunk opening, all leather interior in excellent condition (no rips or tearsof any kind), Has a in dash: DVD, cd, ipod or other external device hookup (paid over a thousand for it). Its handles wonderfully and the alignmenet is true. Things that are wrong with it, paint is flat black (not really a problem but thought i should let you all know), windsheild is cracked on the passenger side, diver side door is having a issue with the handle (opens from the inside just fine), and the driver side seat can´t adjust (stuck in a lower spot but i drive it every day no problem), tires are on the balding side but still drivable. Details: I have a 2001 330xi (All Wheel Drive) for sale. This car is a five-speed and has 176k miles and I´m the second owner (non smoking) It has a long list of features and new parts which I will get to at the end of this listing. I´ve put a lot of work into this car, but it also has its shortcomings, which I´d like to be up front about. This car has been well cared for and built-out for redundancy based on a history with BMWs and their short-falls. This being my fourth Bavarian car, I know that the two things that BMWs are known for failing on are cooling systems and lower control arms (specifically their bushings). To this point, I´ve had an all-aluminum radiator installed along with an aluminum expansion tank and new SPAL fan as well as a high-flow water pump (with a metal as opposed to plastic impeller) and a new thermostat. Ive also recently installed new lower control-arms along with polyurethane lower control-arm bushings which will never fail but are very stiff. My control arms came with the usual LCABs from BMW and those will be included should you feel the ride is too stiff so you may have them changed. I´m hoping to find the right home for my car as this is my second car and I would rather see it go to someone who can care for it as much as I did. I´m also including my Bentley service-manual that I purchased while having the car and any issues that you may ever face should be covered in this book as long as you´re mechanically-inclined. The car is just taking up space, but I´m also not so motivated to sell it that I´m going to just let it slide out of my hands. To that end, as I mentioned before, I do want to be upfront about the shortcomings of the car. There are four that I´m currently aware of and it´s been through the BMW dealer a few times, so they can verify what I say independently. The first two are very obvious. I was backed into a few months back and no one left information. Luckily they only hit the hood and didn´t even crack my headlamp. The dent quite literally didn´t even puncture the back-shell of the hood. Really. The second is that I caught a rock in my windshield about a month after I was backed into and now the crack is about 18 inches long. I have included many pictures in my gallery which is linked at the bottom of this ad so you may judge for yourself, but I found them to really just be purely cosmetic problems. Mechanically, I do know that both of my front cv boots recently cracked so those will need to be replaced soon. With the Bentley manual I´m including in this sale, an afternoon and some power-tools, this repair can be had for less than $200. Also, I know a power steering line is slowly weeping, but it´s been such a small issue that I go through a quart of ATF fluid a year and I´ve just been too lazy to fix it myself. Now, with the ´bad-news´ out of the way...here´s all the good about the car and how my loss is most definitely your gain. Features:3.0L engine, all-wheel-drive (rare), five-speed manual that has had the clutch-delay valve removed (ever wonder why a BMW clutch feels weird in a shift? Not anymore....), xenon headlights, power windows, leather, power/heated/memory seats, power lumbar back-support (rare), sunroof, limo tint in rear / 20% front / 20% visor-strip, have had iPod/iPhone/iPad charge/play connector integrated into the car as well as an auxiliary-audio input. The interior is nearly flawless concerning the leather, only a few MINOR blemishes and absolutely no tears or leather pulling from its stitching.New parts installed in the last 18-24 months -Battery, air and micro filter, Bosch Plat-4 spark plugs, ALL new belts and pulleys, alternator, water pump, Zionsville Motorsport all aluminum radiator with built-on aluminum expansion tank and SPAL fan, thermostat, lower control arms, polyurethane lower control arm bushings, Pirelli all-season tires (including FULL size spare), fuel pump and filter and oil filter housing gasket. Clutch fluid, front and rear differential fluid have all been serviced in the last 20,000 miles as well. I have receipts for every one of these things.As you can see, the car is tied up pretty tight other than its cosmetic issues and I´ve also recently had it pressure-tested at Dinan when they installed my new radiator and all cylinders still showed 99% compression at 165k miles and I do in fact have that in writing from them as well as ALL records from the first owner including her original bill of sale. I want someone who can appreciate my car for what it is and realize you can easily get 3-400k miles out of this vehicle if it is maintained correctly.
