Details: I would describe this car as being well maintained, mechanically good and a solid runner, however it has quite a few cosmetic issues. Don´t come to see it if you expect a good condition collectors car! I´ve only used the car 3 or 4 times in the past 6 months and it´s only done 2000 miles in the last year. I have another newer 7 series so don´t really need this one any more. The car has 148K miles on it.Good points - maintenance in past year:New front brake padsNew front rotorsNew rear brake padsNew brake wear sensorsNew front roll bar drop linksNew rear pitman arms4 new tires - FalkenReplacement coolant sensorAll dash bulbs replacedNew trunk strutsNew hood strutsOil serviceNew battery September 2011The previous owner also carried out some work in 2010 prior to me buying it - new HT leads, new spark plugs, new radiator, replacement viscous clutch.New battery comes with a 3 year warranty from Walmart, so if it goes wrong you can return it to any Walmart for immediate replacement - receipt is kept in the battery compartment though you likely won´t need it as they scan the barcode on the battery.All 4 tires are a good quality brand and have very little wear as only 2000 miles on them.Has an aftermarket 10 CD changer (mounted under passenger seat), anti-lock brakes, heated electric seats Engine is very strong and idles without problem. Definitely no misfires, airleaks, or anything.Bad pointsClear coat peeling on right side hood and c pillar. A few dings & marks in the hood, slight dent in plastic strip on left side. Rear seat leather is pretty good, but passenger front is a bit worn and cracked, and drivers side is very worn and cracked. The worst mechanical point is the starter motor makes a loud ringing sound as it starts up and sometimes you hear that sound when driving too. I´ve had other BMWs that do this, and I´m not 100% sure what exactly the problem is. Any questions just ask. Looking for 2400 or reasonable offer, I don´t need to sell it so not looking for any super low offers! Thanks. Details: 1986 BMW 735i Nice Car Leather Int. Loaded Collectible- Runs very well, too many new parts to list. We planned to keep the car and work was done by professional mechanics but we´ve decided we don´t need a third vehicle so we´re sacrificing and our loss is your gain. Newly rebuilt fuel system, cooling system and transmission, new radiator, new water pump, new front steering link, new exhaust, new battery, new brake pads. Car has never been in a wreck, original nice paint with a couple minor dings that is normal for a car this age. All power accessories work: Cruise control works, heated seats, car has sun roof and it works, this is a vintage luxury car and it´s loaded. The only things two that do not work on the car are the air conditioner/heater, (fan blows but unit needs service) and the radio has been removed but is included with the car (needs to be reinstalled). No rips in leather seats, carpet in nice condition. Come drive it away. We´ve put new aluminum wheels on the car as youcan see in the pic of the wheel.
